Background
I transformed the Youdle's desktop platform into a mobile app, addressing pain points from the existing website and optimizing the interface for smaller screens.

“We currently do not have a mobile platform and aim to develop a responsive mobile version of our desktop website.
Our goal is to ensure that users can easily find groceries, add them to their list, and access a map on the go to find available products nearby them.”

With the insites from the parents with the web platform, I identified the pain points and what could be improved that will be mobile-friendly for the app.

I conducted two rounds of testing and iterations with six users. I focused on key areas like navigation, searching items, task completion, ease of use, and user preferences, which are essential for optimizing mobile app usability.

Final High Fidelity Prototype
Impact
+53% in Conversion Rate based on intuitiveness and ease of use.
Users are able to understand what this app’s feature is without further explanation.
Enhancements such as displaying onboarding, search bar, availability, price, reviews, and store locations significantly contributed to ease of use.

Users are likely to recommend this app to other users.
Users find it helpful for comparing prices but have expressed the need for additional features to increase its appeal.
Suggestions include advance ordering for pickup and delivery, and notifying users about available coupons at specific locations.
If I had more time...
- Measure the growth in mobile-based interactions within the first six months of launch.
- Review additive features that can help Youdle’s users grow retention rate.
